Who I Am was made at the end of 2006. I never made an album cover for it, I just handed out the cd with names of the songs. As you will notice, the cover made years later has the Suspense Composer on it. I wanted to have something to show for having made new progress as I arrived and began living in KS. As soon as I got out to KS, I had no job, no money to purchase any new music making equipment, and had no direct in person fans anymore. Essentially I was trying to act like I'm still that music making dude from CO. That all soon vanished, as it literally took me 2 years to get back on my feat and sobered up 100%. "07 to '09 was a massive struggle to get back to CO where I believed I was supposed to be the rest of my life, and making music. I hated KS when I got out here. There still is very little to do in Topeka KS, if you are from the city life. I ended up making new friends, good friends. The new friends I found are very supportive of my music and encourage me to keep at it. I simply didn't want people to forget me when I made the cover to this album. My new name Suspense Composer brought the new sober me added vibe to send to old fans. Letting them know I was going to be okay was the deal. To my new fans, Dj Suspense was the past now. To anyone who wants to see the changes can simply listen to the Dj Suspense songs and compare them with my Suspense Composer's new music. The only problem is the songs on this album are all from being in CO still. It's kind of confusing because LOST ROOTS was my final album from CO made in the summer of 2007, my last year in Colorado Springs.

When I made this first album towards the end of '04, It didn't even have an album cover. It had just names of the songs and they were in the order in which I made the songs. I didn't know what people would expect from just starting out. Also I had no clue what to do as far as getting the word out. So I put some computer paper with the list of songs on it, and handed a few cd copies out to friends. As cheap as it seemed, friends and family thought it was a good start. You will notice most the songs take a couple seconds to start. I didn't know how to record either, but it shows and reeks of novice. The very first song that I ever made with my own equipment and with no help is on this cd. "FIRST BREACH" was my first song that started my adventure in music making.
